Colin Programs LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates several mobile applications published under our developer account. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting it through transparent data practices.

1. General Policy (Utility Apps)

The following applications are designed as Zero-Data utilities:

For these apps, we do not collect, share, or store any personal information. They do not require user registration, do not access your device's camera or microphone, and do not track your location. All user-generated data (such as notes or scores) is stored locally on your device and is not accessible by us.

2. Specific Policy for Pathmaker

Pathmaker is designed as a vehicle trip computer and speedometer. To provide its core features, Pathmaker requires different permissions than our standard utility apps.

Information Collection and Use

To provide accurate tracking, Pathmaker accesses and collects the following data:

Location Data (Precise and Approximate): Pathmaker accesses your device's GPS and network location data. This occurs while the app is in use and while tracking trips via an active foreground service.
Usage: Location data is used strictly to calculate real-time speed, trip distance, average/maximum speeds, and to plot breadcrumb routes on the map.

Data Storage and Sharing

On-Device Processing: Your location points, vehicle profiles, and trip statistics are stored locally on your device. We do not transmit this data to our own servers.
No Third-Party Sale: We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your location data with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing partners.
Third-Party Services: Pathmaker utilizes the Google Maps SDK for Android. Google's use of information collected through this service is governed by the Google Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Background and Foreground Service

Location tracking only occurs when you explicitly initiate a trip (by tapping "START") and continues until you stop the trip. While active, a persistent notification is displayed in your status bar to indicate that tracking is in progress.

Data Retention and Deletion

All trip statistics and vehicle data remain on your device and can be modified or cleared by deleting vehicles within the app or uninstalling the application.

3. Children's Privacy

Our applications do not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
